I haven't tried using the VPN Client in a Parallels for Mac OSX guest
VM. Do you have a VPN services running on the host? If so, there is
probably a racoon process running that may be swallowing NAT-T UDP
packets on port 4500. You may need to shut this down. I'm not sure how
sophisticated the Mac OSX IPsec implementation is. After porting the
Shrew Soft client to OSX not too long ago, it seems like it could have
some issues with NAT-T. The problem being that you don't set NAT-T
options on individual socket descriptors, its a system wide setting.
How bout some log output?
