[vpn-devel] Network unavailable

I am running VPN access manager 2.1.6 trying to connect to a VPN from my
home computer. Have disabled every firewall I can find through my DSL modem
and get the following:

config loaded for site 'jchristensen.vpn'

configuring client settings ...

attached to key daemon ...

peer configured

iskamp proposal configured

esp proposal configured

client configured

local id configured

pre-shared key configured

bringing up tunnel ...

network unavailable

tunnel disabled

detached from key daemon ...

 

Any idea what I need to do to correct the problem?
