Hi

I solved my problem by following this guide:
http://lists.shrew.net/pipermail/vpn-help/2008-May/001580.html

The thing is that I also uninstalled virtualbox at the same time so there
might be a problem when you have virtualbox. Or the guide simply helped me
revert my faulty installation of rc5.

Now all is well :)

Hi

I tried that but got the same result. How do I remove all traces of the
program manuall? I still shows my vpn profile after reinstalling so I would
like to be sure to make a clean install.

It looks like the client isn't getting a response back from the gateway
( or the packets aren't really being sent for some reason ).

I would try booting into safe mode and re-installing the 2.1.5 client.
The code hasn't changed much between the different versions that are
capable of importing PCF files. This would lead me to believe that a
part of the failed 2.1.4 installation may still be on your system and
causing an issue.
