Hi Tamas,

Thanks for the response. I've tried adjusting timeouts (I could only find the keepalive timeout in the connection properties) on the client with no success. Unfortunately I have no access to the VPN servers I am connecting to.

Regards,

Donovan

Hi Donovan,

I have several clients with mobile broadband connection too and with win7 64 bit, and they don't have this problem. Only disconnect after random time, but I think this is because they losing the mobile connection.

Maybe You have adjust some timeouts?

Regards,

Tamas

Subject: [vpn-help] 3G/UMTS problem

Hi,

I'm having an issue with Shrew VPN 2.1.5-release on Windows 7 64 bit. I have several connections configured (Cisco VPNs) which all work without any issues when I'm connected to the wireless LAN. However, as soon as I connect to 3G/UMTS/HSDPA I get a "negotiation timeout occurred". It's not even getting to a point of validating authentication. Is there anything specific I need to do?

Regards,

Donovan
