[vpn-help] Win 7 and Linksys RV042

I am using Shrew Client 2.1.5 and followed the directions per
http://www.shrew.net/support/wiki/HowtoLinksys to connect to my Linksys
RV042 router.

It appears that the tunnel is established according to the dialog box but I
am unable to ping or browse any system on the remote side.  Running IPCONFIG
indicates that there is no gateway ip assigned to the virtual adapter..
Should there not be one?  If so how and where should this get assigned from?
