Hi,
Not sure if this tidbit of info helps or not....but
Trace Utility works OK for me on XP 32bit.
By not working, what exactly do you mean? Are you not seeing anything logged in the Security Policies or Security Associations tab? If you want to see the handshakes logged, you may need to configure the logging and set the output to information or debug. Don't have the client here at work with me to walk you through that, but you can read Kevin's previous post to me on Sunday and get it from there.
Mike

Hi Robert, I've noticed too that the Trace Utility doesn't seem to
work on Vista 64-bit. I've not tried it on Vista 32-bit to know if
it's a Vista problem or a 64-bit issue. If you've got an XP box you
could test from, that might be really helpful.
I just installed Shrew on Vista Business 32-bit and the Trace Utility
oes not work on it either, so it appears to be a Vista problem. I
on't have Windows 7 machine to test, but I would suspect given the
imilar architectures that the Trace Utility would not work on Win7
ither.
