[vpn-help] Windows 7 32bit poor performance and timeouts

For what it's worth, I have seen some similar issues on my connection.

Generally, the VPN is very stable, and I'm able to run multiple Remote Desktops with no problems.

However, when using a lot of file sharing, such as remotely editing (editor on my machine, files on remote machine), that the tunnel collapses quite often with no apparent reasons.

I'm also running Win 7 x64, and the remotes are running a variety of Vista and Windows Server 2003.

same windows patchlevels? Maybe additional software on the clients
which might interfere with the shrew-client? (FW, AD-group policies,
 buggy network cards)
