Hello,
I just installed from scratch Ubuntu 12.10 amd64; I installed the latest
OS updates, but using the original kernel
3.4.0-5-generic
then I downloaded ike v2.2.0; I resolved the dependencies; I ran cmake
with the suggested options :
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -DQTGUI=YES -DETCDIR=/etc -DNATT=YES
then
make
The compilation went through with no error. Then
make install
when I start iked, it just stops; if I enable the debug (log_level
debug) in iked.conf, I just get :
in the terminal :
root at power4:/etc/apt# iked -F
ii : created ike socket 0.0.0.0:500
ii : created natt socket 0.0.0.0:4500

ii : opened '/var/log/iked.log'
ii : opened '/var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap'
and almost nothing in the log :
root at power4:/etc/apt# cat /var/log/iked.log

13/04/30 17:02:59 ii : opened '/var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap'
and that's all.
in /var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap, there is a short encrypt sting :
root at power4:/etc/apt# od -c /var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap

0000020 352 005 \0 \0 001 \0 \0 \0
0000030
Does anybody have an idea ? I am not a developer, but I can help with
some tests if required.
Best regards
