[vpn-help] V 2.2.2 with Windows 8.1 64 broken

Just wondering if any developers are looking at this.  The solution to
install another product (NCP) and then to uninstall seems a bit of a
kludge. Does anyone have an idea about what is getting fixed by doing this?
