Christopher,

go into the connection properties of the entry in Shrew, tab "Phase 2". The last but one setting on the bottom is set to 3600 sec. by default, just change that to 18000.

Best Regards,
Clemens Hoffmann

Subject: [vpn-help] Problem with Connection Timeout

Hello,

we are using Shrew VPN Client to connect our remote workers to our Network. The Access Router is a FritzBox! LTE Router (Model no. 6842). Our remote workers get disconnected every 60 Minutes and in the event log from the fritz box there's an entry with the text ..."1 Lifetime expired". The AVM technician told me that this 60 minute timer is defined in the Shrew Soft VPN Client. I need to adjust the time to 5 hours, is this possible? And if yes, which values do i have to adjust?

With kind regards

                Christopher
