[vpn-help] Windows 8

We have been unable to get the Shrew Soft VPN client to work on Windows 8.
After installation, when starting up the VPN client and attempting to
establish a VPN connection, the client says "adapter initialization failed."

 

Any ideas what the problem is? We don't have this problem on Windows 7 or
XP.
