Hi Terry,

The Trace Utility shows that at the very least, your Shrew client is not 
getting a response from the VPN gateway.  It doesn't tell us the cause, 
unfortunately.

One of the first things I would try, since you're using Windows 7, is to 
upgrade to the Shrew client version 2.2.0-rc-2.  The 2.2.0 stream 
contains a number of fixes for issues with Windows 7.
