[vpn-help] Installing ShrewSoft standard in Windows 8.1

Hello Alexis,
Here the overview on drivers, including the hidden ones.
I disabled some of them: RealTek and Terodo. But I still have the same issue during the install process with the instruction:
C:\Program Files\ShrewSoft\VPN Client\devcfg.exe –add net vnet c:\ProgramFiles\ShrewSoft\VPN Client\drivers\virtualnet.inf
Giving the error message:
“InstallSelectedDriver failed, eror code =0x00000006”.

All suggestions are welcome.

Do you have try to disable hidden driver ?

I uninstalled ShrewSoft and installed it again.

When looking via the Device manager of Windows and comparing with another Windows 8.1 PC where Shrewsoft is OK, I see that the Shrewsoft Virtual Adaptor is not installed  on my PC.

Do you have check there is no shrew driver ?
