<p class=MsoNormal>I installed the 2.1-beta-5 which supports the import of pcf
files on my Windows 2008 Enterprise server x64 with Hyper-V.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The client worked fine to connect to a cisco gateway from thVe
server.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>But I noticed after the install that my VM could no longer
resolve dns requests on the external virtual adapter.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I ran wireshark on my DNS server (separate machine DC01) and
could not see any DNS requests from the VM but did see traffic from the VM
requesting browser notifications.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I had put the domain controller in LMHosts and hosts file.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>I stopped the Shrew DNS proxy and the VM can now resolve DNS
requests from the VM. The Hyper-V server had no problem resolving DNS.<o:p></o:p></p>
