so, having recently switched to a macbook at
work (still windows at home), i'm finding the os x beta client
suffers a similar problem to one i experienced under windows -
after one or more sleep/wake cycles of the machine, shrew would
stop being able to connect to the key daemon. checking the process
list, the ikea process is not running, though the iked process is.
as a relative newbie to os x, i'm still struggling through the
particulars of doing something as simple as starting up a daemon
that's died - but i'll figure it out eventually.
in the interim, i figured it was worth noting that the os x client
suffers this same issue that the windows client had.
