If I have an internet page open before I connect to the Shrew VPN, I can work within that page, but as soon as I click on a link within that page, or try to open a new page, it won’t connect. My exchange connection stops immediately, and it sits at “trying to establish connection”. As soon as I disconnect, exchange pops right back up and whatever internet page I’ve clicked on pops right up as well. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>We connect via VPN to many clients, but I always make sure any prior connections are disconnected before I connect to Shrew (or any other VPN client, actually – one at a time!) I do not have this issue with any other VPN connection. The only other VPN software that is actually installed on my laptop is Cisco – the others I just go to an internet link for the client. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>I’ve just installed Shrew a couple of weeks ago, and the trouble was evident right away – the first time I connected. I’ll get some help looking into our AV Intrusion Prevention – but, it does NOT stop me from connecting to the client, and initiating an RDP connection to them. Stabilize your Internet connection and I’m sure the VPN will stay up and be more reliable.
