Shrew VPN client is available as 32- and 64-bit version. Even 64-bit VPN is working with W8.1 modern UI it must not be necessarily the case with 32-bit. <div>I use the Shrew Soft VPN client on my laptop at home to connect to the network at the organization I currently work for and run Windows 8 apps through it without the least little bit of problem.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">I will admit though that I hate the Windows 8 "Metro" user interface and the Windows 8.1 update of Metro isn't any better as far as I'm concerned. So what I did was to (for all practical purposes) replace the UI with another one. If you are having issues with the Metro interface, try www.classicshell.net. You can turn your user interface into an interface that is the same as that which came on Windows XP.<br clear="none"></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
