Hi Larry,

Thank's for your post.
I'm using a pull configuration, and that's the one generally working
with Zyxel Zywall products. But, since a new firmware (3.30 bds6 ?),
Shrewsoft returns an error.
I tried "disabled" and "ike config push", but the USG didn't accept
it. Checked and changed a lot of settings, with no success.

Until this morning !
I tried "disabled" again, and changed policy, from "auto", to
require. And it works ! :-)

So, I can write : SOLVED !

Regards,
Jean-Marc
The iPhone & iPad use a pull configuration method for their
IPSEC VPN connection. Looking at the Zyxel Knowledge Base, seeing
this entry suggests you may not be able to get it working using
Shrew with a Pull configuration - <a moz-do-not-send="true"

Hi,

Zyxel support won't help for problems with ShrewSoft...
They only want to help for Zyxel client, which you need to buy !
I downloaded the trial version, and of course, everything is ok
!
May be this "incompatible thing"was deliberate and
intentional... Forcing customers to use a proprietary software
instead of a free one.

No solution ?
I only face problem with the USG 50. It was working well with
the Zywall 5.
We use PSK + XAuth identification.
But I'll try to contact Zyxel support.
