Matt,
Thanks for the info to add it to the dock. I should of explained better. When I start the access manager it opens (I see the icon appear in the dock briefly) then closes. I cannot bring up the access manager.

In regards to your below question, to get it loaded in the dock (and stay there) go into Macintosh HD>Applications folder, find the item in your list, then drag to the dock. You might have to kind of hold it there and move the mouse a little until you see the other dock items make room for it.
I've been working with the client as well and can 'almost' connect to our network with it. I think one of the phase 2 negotiations are off, but I don't have the right...um, I guess the right term is 'hash' for it. I was sort of hoping Matt Grooms could explain a little more on that.
Hey, post to the lists and let me know how it goes for you.
Matt

Hello,
I have followed the setup of Shrew Client 2.2.x from the following thread:
http://lists.shrew.net/pipermail/vpn-help/2010-November/003223.html
summary:
There are two pre-requisites before running the native install package ...
1) Install the LGPL Qt Framework for Mac OSX ...
http://get.qt.nokia.com/qt/source/qt-mac-opensource-4.7.1.dmg
2) Install the current release of the TUN/TAP driver for Mac OSX ...
http://tuntaposx.sourceforge.net/download.xhtml
You can then proceed to install the Shrew Soft VPN client ...
www.shrew.net/download/vpn/vpn-client-install.dmg
The VPN Access manager should be visible in the Application folder.
Please report back any issues you may encounter while testing.
System and install specs:
MAC running OSX 10.4.11
QT Ver = 4.7.1 for OSX 10.4
TunTap Ver = 20090913 for OSX 10.4
Symptoms:
- the QT, TunTap and Shrew client packages install successfully
- running the access manager/VPN Client the icon appears on the dock then disappears
- tried rebooting same symptom neither will stay on the dock
- tried re-installing the client same result
Any thoughts/ideas?
Thanks
