[Vpn-devel] How to build shrew on Windows?

Hi there,

I'm looking for a Windows VPN client that allows me to either manually
or programmatically change the SPD and SADB, so I can create SAs with
specific properties defined by me. The reason why I want to do this is
because I'm working in an innovation project where we use SIP instead of
IKE to negotiate and establish the SAs (yeah innovation can be weird at
times).

>From what I've seen I think I could use shrew for this, but I can't find
how to build the client on a Windows platform. Windows binaries are
available but I need to be able to write my own daemon using the shrew
libraries. Could anyone provide advice on how to build the client on
Windows? Do I need Cygwin or other Unix-emulation platform?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
/Javier Arauz
