All,
For those of you who are following the development todo list, you may
have noticed some entries related to name services configuration ebbing
near the top. The first of the two items was to make direct adapter mode
work with tunnel specific DNS and WINS configurations. Thanks to some
recently discovered undocumented MS APIs, support for this has now been
committed to head. The way this works is that the tunnel specific name
service settings are applied to the public adapter at connect time and
reverted at disconnect time. If you would like to test this new feature
or check for regressions, please have a look at this build ...

Next on the todo list is an update to the Transparent DNS Proxy system
that provides Split DNS on windows platforms. The goal is to make it
"just work" in any situation without loosing your default domain setting
on the virtual adapter. I hope to have this ready for the next alpha
release which should be in a week or so. Getting it and Vista support
completed soon is important so they can be well tested before the 2.1.0
release.
Thanks,
-Matthew
