[Vpn-help] Vista 64 bit - Cisco Pix 501 - VPN client 2.1.4

I followed the How To: Cisco Pix guide on the site and everything is
matching the settings recommended.  When I try to connect to my VPN it
asks me to authenticate my username then I get:

 

Bringing up tunnel....

adapter configuration failed

 

and it fails to connect.   Any ideas on what would cause this?
