[Vpn-help] windows 7 x64 / netgear FVS-336G / 2.1.5-beta

I have the same problem connecting to a Cisco VPN concentrator - tunnel is created fine but no apparent traffic between client and machines at the end of the connection. Problem exists on both 64 and 32 bit versions of Win 7 build 7100.

In my case however the subnets are different and the routing tables appear to be correct, but still no luck. The Cisco VPN client however does work fine on 32 bits, so I don't think the subnet clash is an issue in my case.

For my benefit (and hopefully for others) could you post the link you found?

Many thanks,

Matt

For future google users to find the answer to the same issue - my problem was that I gave the client IPs in the same subnet at the ones behind the VPN device. Changing it to a different subnet solved the problem. It might be useful to note on the NetgearHowto that this is in fact a very important thing to make sure of.

I am sure Matt is really tired of teaching all us networking-uneducated folks the same thing over and over again - a really detailed query on google turned up one of his answers to someone that had the same issue.
