[vpn-help] Fwd: Internet connection dies after some minutes of heavy download traffic

I'm testing lwf10 now. I figured out that the cpu load was RDP related. Don't ask why. :-) After I closed remote desktop connection the load was normal again.

Interesting. Perhaps you can stop all Shrew Soft services and set them to manual startup? Have you tested both lwf-10 and lwf-11 then?
