Have you tried the head branch? It contains both a command line app ( 
ikec ) and gui apps ( qikea & qikec ) based on qt4. You should find it 
usable, but it will probably be quite some time before 2.2 is branched 
from head. Right now stable releases are only branched from 2.1-branch 
which contains gui apps ( ikea & ikec ) based on qt3. Hopefully we can 
focus on this more after the 2.1.6 stable release, especially now that 
head contains full support for Mac OSX.
