[vpn-help] VPN negotiation time out

Hy,

 

I have a problem connecting to the VPN of my university with the Shrew Soft
Software - the queer thing is that with the same SW-Version of Shrew (2.1.7)
I am able with one PC  (WinXP) and not with the other one (Win7-64) - he
gets a negotiation time out.

Both have the same Security SW (Security SW F-Secure IS 2010).

 

Here are the details:

 

Problem:

pre-shared key configured

bringing up tunnel ...

negotiation timout occurred

tunnel disabled

detached from key daemon ...

 

tried:

 

1)      NOT WORKING

VPN Client Version = vpn-client-2.1.7-release

Windows OS Version = Windows 7 Home Premium 64 (Security SW F-Secure IS
2010)

Gateway Make/Model = AVM Fritz Box 7270

Gateway OS Version = 54.04.86

 

2)      NOT WORKING

VPN Client Version = vpn-client-2.1.7-release

Windows OS Version = Windows 7 Home Premium 64 (Security SW F-Secure IS
2010)

Gateway Make/Model = zyxel arcor-DSL WLAN -modem 100

Gateway OS Version = n.a.

 

3)      WORKING

VPN Client Version = vpn-client-2.1.7-release

Windows OS Version = Windows XP Home (32) (Security SW F-Secure IS 2010)

Gateway Make/Model = zyxel arcor-DSL WLAN -modem 100

Gateway OS Version = n.a.

 

debug.zip cannot be saved
