Hi Marc,

I've sanitized and pasted the log info to the list so the developers on
the list can chime in to explain what's happening.

There doesn't seem to be any problems with establishing the
connection. The iked.log file shows the following:

11/04/14 11:20:01 ii : phase2 ids accepted
11/04/14 11:20:01 ii : - loc ANY:192.168.99.1:* -> ANY:0.0.0.0/0:*
11/04/14 11:20:01 ii : - rmt ANY:0.0.0.0/0:* -> ANY:192.168.99.1:*
11/04/14 11:20:01 ii : phase2 sa established

which basically means everything negotiated correcly. However, 40
seconds after that this is received:

11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : received peer DPDV1-R-U-THERE-ACK notification
11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : - xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4500 -> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4500
11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : - isakmp spi = 8e307522e7158056:5efed0593cdc3bc4
11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : - data size 4
11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : DPD ARE-YOU-THERE-ACK sequence 3afdfc78 accepted
11/04/14 11:20:26 ii : next tunnel DPD request in 15 secs for peer
70.97.166.66:4500 11/04/14 11:20:40 <A : peer tunnel disable message

which is where things go wrong, but I don't know why. Perhaps this is
where the rest of the listserv group can help?
