[vpn-help] 2.2.0 rc 4 "Trial period expired"?

Hi,

After installing the VPN client on Windows 8 I get the following
message:

"Software Trial Period - You are operating tis software under a trial
basis.
The trial period has expired. Please visit our website to purchase a
license
to continue using this product"

I thought this VPN client was for free?

If not, I'm wondering how this can be purchased - there is not the
slightest sign on the Shrew Soft page that this is commercial software.
