Hello Tony,

Please create a debug log File. You can achieve this as follows:

- Start the VPN Trace Program.
- On the IKE Tab, stop the IKE Service.
- Enable logging on the File Menu, set logging level to Debug and choose a file for the output.
- Start the IKE service again.
- Try connecting.
- After the error message, quit VPN Client.
- Zip pack the debug output file and post it here.

Kind regards,

Gerd

Betreff: [vpn-help] Cisco ASA-Can't connect to

Hi,
Have a client with Windows 7 64 bit & can't use the Cisco VPN client to connect to ASA.

Here is the message that comes up when trying to connect:

config loaded for site 'Office Connect'

configuring client settings ...

attached to key daemon ...

peer configured

iskamp proposal configured

esp proposal configured

client configured

local id configured

pre-shared key configured

bringing up tunnel ...

no dhcp response from gateway

tunnel disabled

detached from key daemon ...

Any help would be appreciated. I have look at support docs and varied the settings a bit, still not connecting.

thanks

Tony
