[vpn-help] Commandline options

For a long time I wished there was a possibility to start a connection from
the commandline or a batch/script. It turns out it's there at least in
version 2.2.0 but not documented anywhere as far as I know. I just started
ipsecc.exe from its installation-folder "C:\Program Files\ShrewSoft\VPN
Client" and got a message-screen saying

Invalid parameters specified ...

ipsecc.exe -r "name" [ -u <user> ][ -p <pass> ][ -a ]

-r site configuration path

-u connection user name

-p connection user password

-a auto connect

After some testing it turns out that "name" is the name as it appears in the
ipsecca - window . Adding the -a starts the connection as promised. I would
like this added to the helpfile. Would be nice if you could rightclick on
the tray-icon and "exit" and "disconnect" / "connect" from there.
