[vpn-help] Problems to connect Shrew Client with Netgear FVS318 Firmware V2.4

Dear all,

My task is to create a VPN network for a charitable association.
Therefore we are not able to invest in expensive solutions and have to create the VPN infrastructure on our own.

I tried for the last 3 days to connect Shrew Client with Netgear FVS318 Firmware V2.4
I have searched the entire internet and all available forums.


Please find attached both, the Log of the Client and the Router.
I have also attached the Configs of the router and the client.

My setup is as described in the file "network setup“.
I have also tried to use a mobile connection via my cell phone instead of the Speedport W700V to make sure that this router does not cause the problem. Without success.

Honestly, I’m note the expert on VPN (otherwise I wouldn’t have to contact you :-) ).
Hopefully you can help me.
