I am trying to use Shrewsoft VPN Client 2.1.4and it will not connect to a Cisco 3000 when running on Windows 7.
- It fails at the Phase 1 negotiation.
- I also noticed that the ShrewSoft Virtual Adapter is disabled in Device Manager with code 22. Version 2.1.0.3 dated 9/23/2009.
- I also noticed two errors in the Windows Event Log for DTPD.EXE and IKED.EXE in NTDLL.DLL. See below details.
- I have attached my IKE log.
- I have installed the same VPN Client version 2.1.4 on Vista 4 and Windows XP and I was able to import the PCF file and it connected to my VPN Server successfully. So I exported the VPN config file and imported it on Windows 7 using the same version and it does not connect. Also tried manually configuring and it fails with the same error.
I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me resolve this issue.
Thanks, Rick
