Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong?
My 32bit version of Windows 7 connects flawlessly using the Cisco VPN
Client.
I am using Shrewsoft on Windows 7 64bit.
Screenshot from the 32bit Cisco client. I've removed the IP and real group
name for security purposes.
I went to this directory:
C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\Profiles
. I copied the .pcf file from the directory and copied it to my
64bit Windows 7 Machine.
. Downloaded and installed the latest stable version of Shrew Soft
VPN (2.1.6)
. Opened Shrewsoft "Access Manager" and imported the cisco
"64.9.9.9.pcf" file that was in the Profiles directory.
. That created an Entry in the Window Called "64.9.9.9.pcf"
. I hit "connect"
. I entered the correct "group name" and "Group password". I
verified by copying and pasting.
I got this information from Shrew Soft:
config loaded for site '64.9.9.9.pcf'
configuring client settings ...
attached to key daemon ...
peer configured
iskamp proposal configured
esp proposal configured
client configured
local id configured
pre-shared key configured
bringing up tunnel ...
negotiation timout occurred
tunnel disabled
detached from key daemon ...
Right after this failed twice using Shrew Soft I went to my 32bit machine
using the Cisco Client and it worked flawlessly. I did this to make sure it
wasn't the Pix at fault.
I tried using the Shrewsoft Client again and it failed.
Any ideas?
