Hi everyone
Hope you can help me with my problem below. The connection worked on a
test dial-up and then when laptop was taken home and connecting
wirelessly through the router it gives the problem. I can connect to the
internet through the wireless ok.
Problem:
The VPN client fails to connect to my gateway. When I click on connect,
the client application reports that a negotiation timed out occurred.
I previously tested on a dial-up connection from outside network and VPN
Client connected immediately.
I used the Cisco .pcf file to populate the setup of the VPN Client
software.
To Reproduce:
Hardware: PIX-501, 16 MB RAM, CPU Am5x86 133 MHz
VPN Client Version = 2.1.5
Windows OS Version = Windows 7
Gateway Make/Model = Cisco PIX 501
Gateway OS Version = Cisco PIX Firewall Version 6.3(5)
