Hi Uday,

I don't recall exactly what the circumstances were, but I do recall an
issue with VMware guests on Windows having issues. I think there was a
fix added for it, so I would get the latest version of Shrew (2.1.7)
from http://www.shrew.net and see if that works.

Another thing to check is if you have any VPN software installed on the
Windows host.  I ran into a problem a while back where the VPN client
on the Windows host was intercepting the VPN packets that should have
been going to the VMware guest. If you do have VPN software installed
in the Windows host, try uninstalling it to see if that makes a
difference.
